STEPHEN LARESE, Visual Resources Coordinator, M.F.A. University of Cincinnati Born and raised in Connecticut and having attended several schools there, Stephen Larese received the degrees of BS and BFA from Southern Connecticut State University and shortly thereafter his MFA from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation, a gallery position with Betty Parsons and Jock Truman (where he had exhibited as an artist in the 1970s) brought him to New York. In 1979 and 1980 he worked at the library and slide collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Cloisters Museum. During his years living in Manhattan he had also studied design at Parsons School of Design and at Pratt Institute. As of January 1981 he has been in the position that he currently holds at Stony Brook. |
